Picnic and Hike in the Park

Who? – The Youth of Grace and their Friends

What? – Come join us for a picnic and hike at Arroyo Verde Park. Please RSVP to Lisa Sage by September 10th. We will have some sandwich makings, chips, and drinks for lunch. Then those who are up to hiking can head up into the hills for some amazing views. Parking costs $3 (Cash Only) per vehicle, so it would be great to carpool as much as possible. Hope many of you can join us.

When?- Sunday, September 13th after Sunday School/Bible Class about noon to 2pm.

NYG 2028 

Please remember that the next National Youth Gathering is just 2 summers away, and we are hoping to send about 5 youth and 1 adult with Trinity Simi Valley Church to San Antonio. Please consider starting now to put in an extra offering each month earmarked “NYG.” I am guessing that we will need to raise approximately $8,000 between now and 2028 to help support our youth attending. 

Events and activities with also be on calendar. 

Sunday School news

These past summer months both classes watched about the first third of the children’s video series, “What’s in the Bible? with Buck Denver.” We laughed with the silly puppets but also learned about many important Biblical truths too. With fall almost upon us, we will be taking a break from our video series and returning to our more standard Sunday School curriculum and activities.

I am also happy to report that our Sunday School Classes have been growing, and we are excited to see what all the students learn as we get back into the more regular routines that come with the school year. -Lisa Sage.
